Requirements for articles

A license agreement 

The contract of editorial and publishing activities

For publication in the online journal “ "Land Reclamation and Hydraulic Engineering" ” (further referred to as the journal), original scientific articles, scientific review articles, (further referred to as the articles) previously unpublished and corresponding to the subject of the journal are accepted.

1 Submission Procedures and Editorial Review of Original Author's Articles

1. Original scientific articles, scientific and critical review, and reports within the journal's scope and subject matter, which have not yet been pub-lished, are accepted for publication in the online journal “Land Reclamation and Hydraulic Engineering” (hereinafter referred to as the journal).

2. The author submits the original author's article, designed in accord-ance with the established requirements, to the journal's editorial board in elec-tronic form. 

3. The article is reviewed by the editorial board for compliance with the journal requirements within 10 working days, starting from the day following the receipt of the article. 

3.1. An article that meets the journal's requirements will be accepted for review. The author will be notified of its acceptance.

3.2. An article that does not meet the journal's requirements will be re-turned to the author with recommendations for revision or rejected, with an in-dication of the reasons for rejection. 

4. Upon receipt of notification of acceptance of the article, the author submits to the journal's editorial office in electronic form the following: 

– a draft license agreement (the agreement must be completed for all au-thors of the article) in doc/docx format;

– a copy of the signed agreement for the provision of editorial and pub-lishing services in pdf and doc/docx formats; 

– copies of signed personal data processing consent (for each author sep-arately) in pdf and doc/docx formats.

5. After the invoice is issued, the author pays for editorial and publishing services.

If payment is impossible, the author may submit an appropriate request to the editorial office. If the decision is positive, the author will sign a contract for editorial and publishing services without payment.

An article by a graduate student (who is the sole author) may be pub-lished free of charge, provided they provide proof of graduate study.

6. After funds are received in the RSRILIP account, the article is sent for review to two reviewers within three working days, beginning on the day fol-lowing the payment receipt.

The review period is 20 working days.

Receipt of two negative reviews constitutes grounds for rejection of the article without further consideration, termination of the editorial and publish-ing services agreement, and refund of any unused funds.

The editors reserve the right to send the article for additional review. The additional review period is 20 working days. The additional review is covered by the editors.

8. After review, the article is sent for editing.

The editing period is 20 working days.

9. If necessary, the article is sent to the author for revision. The author has 20 working days to revise the article. Failure to comply with the deadline for revising the article is grounds for termination of the editorial and publish-ing services agreement and the return of any unused funds.

10. After revision, the article is sent back for revision. 

The re-editing period is 20 working days.

11. The editorial board makes a decision to publish an article or to reject it within 5 working days.

12. Articles accepted for publication by the editorial board undergo liter-ary and technical editing, including translation of the abstract, keywords, arti-cle title, tables, and figures into English, and formatting of the References sec-tion.

13. The edited text of the article is sent to the author for approval.

14. Upon receiving the edited text of the article, the author must submit to the editorial office the original:

– the edited article, signed by all authors, indicating the number of pages and the date of signature;

– a license agreement, signed by all authors of the article – 1 copy;

– an agreement for the provision of editorial and publishing services, signed by all authors of the article – 2 copies;

– an acceptance certificate for completed work (services rendered), signed by all authors of the article – 2 copies;

– a signed consent to the processing of personal data (separately for each author.
