ON PROBLEM SOLVING OF LOCATION OF THE FUNCTIONAL UNIT OF ELECTROCHEMICAL WATER TREATMENT IN DRIP IRRIGATION SYSTEM

Abstract:

The aim of this research is the development of methodological approaches to solving the problem of choosing the location of electrochemical treatment complex of irrigation water and aqueous solutions of mineral fertilizers as a part of drip irrigation system. The object of the research is the design of drip irrigation systems with the electrochemical water treatment function. The subject of the research is the methodological aspects of drip irrigation systems design with the electrochemical water treatment function in regard to substantiation of the location of the tie-in section of electrochemical water treatment complex. The main conceptual statement of the research is the necessity to ensure the possibility of implementing the irrigation technological process with the cumulative use of natural and electrochemically treated irrigation water for irrigation crops on the irrigated modules. To solve this problem a specialized system for parametrizing linear coordinates coordinated with well-known classification practices and structural-functional models of modern drip irrigation systems has been developed. The proposed system of parametrization of linear coordinates allows identification of the location of the tie-in section of electrochemical water treatment complex, provides the ability to convert coordinates with centralization of relative to the current (calculated for a given iteration cycle) location of the electrochemical water treatment unit, allows to verify the structure of that part of the drip irrigation system located behind the unit tie-in electrochemical water treatment system. The developed algorithm uses the proposed coordinate parameterization system to identify and compile a list of irrigation modules served by an electrochemical water treatment unit, allows working out irrigation schedules with electrochemically treated and natural irrigation water, estimating the probability of overlapping schedules, solving an optimization problem. Criteria for substantiation the possibility of installing an electrochemical water treatment unit in the considered segment of the drip irrigation system are proposed.
