THE STUDY OF MORPHO-PHYSIOLOGICAL INDICATORS AND NET PRODUCTIVITY OF SPRING BARLEY PHOTOSYNTHESIS, CULTIVATED WITH THE APPLICATION OF BIOLOGICALS

Abstract:

The aim of the research was to study the influence of new growth regulators on the morphological and physiological indicators and net photosynthetic productivity of spring barley of Raushan variety. The product Vigor Forte is a plant growth regulator that combines the synthetic analogue of growth phytohormone (auxin) and the corrective complex of NPK and microelements in an optimal way. It is applied in conjunction with fungicides in the preseeding treatment or in combination with planned foliar treatment (VATR LLC, Korolev). The biological product, created in Federal State Budgetary Institution of Higher Education “Orel State Agrarian University named after N. V. Parahin”, is composed of buckwheat bioflavonoids, salicylic acid and magnesium salts (patent no. 2463759). The treatment of barley seeds was carried out before sowing, the plants – by spraying at the tillering stage – the beginning of stem elongation. The photosynthesis productivity indicators in the periods of sprouting, tillering, stem elongation, earing, flowering, ripening were studied. It is found that Vigor Forte and Biopreparation have a growth activating effect on plants, increasing the number of leaves, biomass accumulation and photosynthetic indicators of spring barley of Raushan variety. Vigor Forte increased the barley photosynthetic potential by 11 % compared to control, and Biopreparation by 5 %. Vigor Forte is more effective in terms of increasing the net productivity of barley photosynthesis: when applied, its value is larger by 80 % compared to the control, and in the variant with Biopreparation only by 50 %. The product Vigor Forte was more effective in increasing the barley yield compared to the Biological preparation.
