ON ISSUE OF AUTOMATION OF RICE EVAPOTRANSPIRATION CALCULATION PROCESS

Abstract:

The purpose of the research is to create the algorithm and obtain the necessary dependencies and equations allowing to develop a program for an electronic computing machine and to computerize the calculation of rice evapotranspiration, including evaporation from the water surface of a rice paddy and rice transpiration. The data obtained during the field research on the experimental plots of the proxy objects for rice cultivation (LLC “Manych-Agro”, Bagaevskiy district, Rostov region) and research in lysimeters installed at the test site of the Russian Scientific Research Institute for Land Improvement Problems were used in the course of work. The calculation algorithms for rice paddy evapotranspiration have been developed and implemented in the Microsoft Office Excel software environment. The dependencies were obtained by regression analysis. As a result of studies, the dynamics of average daily rice transpiration from seedling stage to ripening depending on the sum of average daily temperatures was found, the bioclimatic transpiration coefficient for rice due to the sum of temperatures on the cumulative total was determined, the correction coefficient for evaporation from rice paddy water surface was determined. The above presented data allowed developing an algorithm for calculating the rice field evapotranspiration, including the calculation of evaporation from the water surface of the rice paddy and rice transpiration using the information database of meteorological parameters. The algorithm for calculating rice field evapotranspiration provides the basis for developing a computer program that will computerize the processes for calculating rice evapotranspiration, including evaporation from the water surface of a rice paddy and rice transpiration.
